Each morning, we harvest and bundle fresh blooms from our fields for a charming and seasonal selection at our Hicks Flower Farmstand in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.

From delicate heirloom flowers to herbal and edible blooms, every bouquet is made with care—perfect for your kitchen table, a thoughtful gift, or even a garnish for afternoon tea.

Small bouquets, edible/herbal mixes, and unique extras are placed out each morning—available until sold out.

  • New varieties blooming weekly—stop by often to see what’s fresh

Bloom Guide by Season

Here’s a general look at what may be in bloom when you visit:

Spring – Early Summer (May–June):
Viola | Pansy, Snapdragons, Stock Flower, White Dill, Chamomile, Calendula, Cornflower (edible), Cosmos, Echinacea, Sweet Pea, Yarrow

Mid-Summer (July–August):
Zinnia, Lisianthus, Bells of Ireland, Cosmos, Chamomile, Calendula, Cornflower, Eucalyptus, Yarrow, Gladiolus, Sunflower, Butterfly Pea, Wineberry (foliage), Wild Blackberry (foliage), Purple Iris, Sweet Pea

Late Summer – Early Fall (September–October):
Lilies, Sunflowers, Gladiolus, Eucalyptus, Calendula, Chamomile, Zinnia, Yarrow, Decorative Pumpkins

Please note that availability changes daily based on what’s blooming and ready to harvest. Everything is grown right here on our small farm for peak freshness and beauty.

Slow down and savor the season with a peaceful berry picking experience at Hicks Flower Farm in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.

August marks the beginning of wineberry season—a rare, heirloom berry with a delicate, citrus-raspberry flavor. Alongside the wineberries, you’ll find wild blackberries growing in abundance along the edges of our flower fields.

Whether you're planning a simple summer outing with your children or stopping by for a quick pint on your way to the coast, our small family farm is just one mile off the highway—and a lovely detour worth taking.

What to Expect:

  • Private, scheduled U-pick visits on our working flower farm

  • Fresh wineberries (early August) and wild blackberries (throughout the month)

  • Weekly photo booth opportunities near the flower fields

  • A charming self-serve farmstand offering fresh-picked pints, floral bundles, and seasonal gifts

Starting in early September, families are invited to stroll our sunflower rows and pick their perfect pumpkin—without the crowds or chaos. It's a simple, peaceful way to celebrate the season, rooted in the charm of old-time New England farm life.

Whether you're looking for a quiet morning among the blooms or a fun family photo moment with little ones, our cozy flower farm offers just the right dose of autumn magic.

What to Expect:

  • A charming, relaxed pumpkin patch (perfect for little ones)

  • Stems of farm-grown sunflowers ready to snip and take home

  • A backdrop of flowers, blue skies, and simple fall beauty

  • Optional Photo Spot for a keepsake picture

Flower Stand

HIX VISITOR INSTRUCTIONS. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW…

  • We cannot make change for you. Insert payment in the drop box. Donations are always welcome!

  • We accept: Venmo (@hixfarm), Cash, Check (made out to “Hix Farm”)

  • Barn Garage and front area for flowers. Do not enter farm house or wander around the farm. We love people AND we highly value that small bit of privacy. Thanks for respecting our boundary.

PRICES: Our flowers are hand harvested from our fields with precision and care,  so you can experience the freshest flowers possible. Depending on what’s in bloom on the farm, we stock the Flower House Tuesdays with a variety of bouquets, bunches or flowers by-the-stem.
